Comien Kift graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. She came to Ireland in early 2008, and is now a practising member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.
Before travelling to Ireland, Comien was the Chief Physiotherapist in Gordonia Hospital, South Africa, where she was responsible for co-ordinating all departmental procedures. She was also part of the Physiotherapy team for the Argus Cycling Squad for four consecutive years.
She is very focused on continuing her professional development through attending courses on new approaches to treatment.
