We are now running 30 minute abdominal and back strengthening classes at Archview. These are run by our chartered physiotherapists to ensure you are performing all exercises in the safest possibly manner.
These classes are beneficial for strengthening your back and tummy area and protecting your back from injury in sport or everyday life. They are also a fantasic way to help tone your tummy and get it bikini ready for this summer!
We recommend to all back pain patients in particular, to attend either Clinical Pilates or abdominal/back strengthening at Archview before returning to any high impact activities. Research shows that the reoccurrence of back injury is greatly reduced by improving core strength.
However, do keep in mind that our abdominal classes are also designed for those without previous injury and who would just like to focus on core strengthening. As we all know the tummy area can be sometimes the most difficult area to tone. If you want to get a flat tummy then this is the class for you!
