Eileen Kelly Bsc. (Physio) Chartered Physiotherapist,
Clinical Pilates Instructor

Eileen Kelly graduated from University College Dublin in 2010. Soon after graduating Eileen completed the Stott Pilates Mat Instructor Course. Eileen began teaching Pilates classes in Galway City specializing in classes aimed at those recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and those getting back to fitness after childbirth. She has gained vast experience in the area of Pilates and has completed extra training in Ante Natal Pilates, Post Natal Pilates and Pelvic Floor strengthening exercises. Eileen's Pilates classes focus on using your core muscles to correct and maintain your posture and correct body alignment thus enabling your body to work more effectively and correctly during the day.

Since 2010 Eileen has worked across a broad range of Physiotherapy branches. She has gained experience in treating patients with Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Motor Neuron Disease, COPD, Parkinson's disease and Spinal Cord injuries providing both musculoskeletal and respiratory Physiotherapy cover to her clients.

Eileen has been working in Private Practice in Co. Galway prior to commencing work in Archview Physiotherapy Clinic and has treated a wide caseload of patients in her practice including neck and back pain from postural related problems at work, sports injuries, women's health issues and accidents. She has worked with various sports teams and clubs including Connaught Ladies Hockey Club, Kinvara Soccer team, Clare Cycling Club and the Burren walking club. She has experience treating athletes especially those who partake in endurance sports such as marathons and long distance cyclists

Eileen has a keen interest in treating those with musculoskeletal injuries and uses a combination approach of Soft tissue massage, Dry Needling, Spinal manipulation and K taping to help ease her patients pain and discomfort and works with them using Pilates and Functional Sports Rehabilitation Exercises to get them back to pre-injury fitness and correct postural alignment so they can return to their everyday activities with no pain.

In her spare time Eileen spends her time attending and playing in GAA matches in Clare and Galway. She also volunteers with Special Olympics Ireland and travelled with Team Ireland to the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Athens 2011.
